Apple pencil not pairing with IPad Pro despite being charged?

Ive seen this question asked 800 times before but Ive still never found an answer. My ipad pro and apple pencil have been paired together for forever, but recently the pencil keeps disconnecting and not reconnecting with the ipad. Usually it eventually pops back on, but today it’s been an hour and a half and nothing. 1. The pen is at 100% 2. Bluetooth and ipad have been turned on and off multiple times 3. Pen has been disconnected, but it’s not showing up on the bluetooth devices at all, so there’s no way to reconnect it.

I’m not sure what to do, I’ve searched tons of forums, watched videos, done everything. Is there something I’m missing? Has anyone else been having this problem lately?

As described, your Pencil (or iPad) may have a hardware fault. Substitution is often the most straightforward method of determining which is at fault...

Try using your Pencil with another compatible iPad. If the Pencil works with a different iPad - then your own iPad may have a problem that requires further investigation. If the Pencil doesn't work as expected with another iPad, you have identified the problem.

Alternatively, try substituting a different Pencil with your iPad. Again, if a different Pencil works as expected, you have identified the problem. If not, then the iPad is suspect.

You might choose to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad and Pencil:
