Since this latest update 17.1.1. My iPhone 13 Pro does not make sounds for text messages. It worked just fine before the update. Also the sound that I had selected for text is no longer available.
Anyone here about a new update to fix issues. Sounds like there is a lot!
PLEASE allow a return to the old tri-tone Notification sound! The insufferable "dripping water splat" sound is hard to hear (which otherwise might be a blessing, since it's also an ugly sound) when the phone is not in my purse. Change for the sake of change alone can be infuriating when the "old" way was just fine.
