Workout Auto-Pauses During Kickboxing

Since updating to the new WatchOS recently (now running WatchOS 10.1.1) my Apple Watch Ultra 1 auto-pauses during a kickboxing workout. This is a new occurrence, as this never used to happen. I've subsequently had to turn off Workout > Auto-Pause (even though this is explicitly for Running and Outdoor Cycling), and I've also disabled Workout > Press to Pause. This is very annoying, as now when I go running, I need to try and remind myself to turn on Auto-Pause again for when I stop and wait for traffic, etc. Please advise / suggest a solution, other than keeping Auto-Pause off, as well as Press to Pause. As mentioned, this never used to be an issue when kickboxing with the Kickboxing Workout previously. Thank you.
