Turning restrictions off is not working using the Apple TV control center. It will provide the option to turn off or go to settings and when selecting turn off it asks for device or passcode approval and after approval nothing happens and the Apple TV remains in restrictions on status.

Apple TV Restrictions Bug? I have recently set restrictions for my Apple TV 4k in order to prevent TV-MA shows and rated R movies, both of which I selected in the restrictions section of settings. I then started watching a TV-14 show through the TV app which I had purchased through Itunes. The TV show plays just fine and does not ask for the passcode since it is TV-14. However, once the episode finishes, the automatic play next comes up, and once the timer runs out to start the next episode, it immediately asks for the passcode. Since the TV show is TV-14, it should not be doing this. I believe this is a bug. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this something on the bug radar to get fixed?

Why does Apple TV keep logging me out? I have apple tv installed on a number of devices on 3 tvs. We are mostly unable to watch Apple TV because we just get logged out of every device every time we try. What is going on? On the verge of unsubscribing and binning the entire service it's been going on for months and we can't get a response about it. No other app does this. Discovery, Disney, sky, paramount all stay logged in no issues.... why can't apple tv??? Installed on: 1 x samsung tv 1 x hisense tv Plus the sky pucks attached to the tv and a third puck attached to a tv (no native app there) None of the logins work we have to unlock and sign back in every time then in most cases when we start to watch something 'sign in to watch' and we just give up. Pretty tech savy here but this is beating me. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple TV will not allow me to turn the Home Theatre Option ON The option to turn switch the option on the home theatre option from Off to On is greyed out and will not allow me to change it.

I have the exact same issue.

I am able to go to Settings to turn it off there, but the Control Center function goes through the motions — asking for approval and is granted approval — but doesn’t turn it off.
