Why are there ads on Peacock? I have premium

i pay monthly for a premium subscription, yet all my shows have commercials. What good is premium? If I pay, I shouldn’t have to watch ads.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have Premium plus. But it’s frustrating… for example, I’m watching “Found.” There are ads. Why? I’ve paid for a subscription… it’s more than 24 hours since the episodes originally aired.

You're welcome! It says on Peacock's website that a few certain shows and movies will still have ads due to streaming rights issues so that would be my guess as to why. I know when I watched the Harry Potter movies on there, they were definitely the made for tv cut and not the theatrical version.

Do you have premium or premium plus? The $5.99/month premium plan on Peacock is meant to be a step up from the free version they offer and does have ads. The $11.99/month premium plus is the ad-free, with exception to a few things, for example live channels and events.
