Target disk mode between Intel 2019 MBP and M3 2023 MBP

Good day,

I have already performed the migration of my 2019 16" MBP to my new 2023 16" M3 MBP via Migration Assistant.

No problems there.

Now, I want to erase my 2019 MBP by using it as an external HDD off the 2023 MBP. However, in Target Disk Mode, while the icons are shown on the 2019 MBP, nothing is being seen on the 2023 MBP side.

Since my 2023 M3 MBP is brand new, I have not seen anything in the Apple Community that addressed the new M3 MBP's

Can anyone provide assistance?
