iOS 17.1.1 update not appearing on Mac

My iPhone 13 mini is currently running iOS 17.1, and it "knows" that iOS 17.1.1 is available. I neve do OTA updates, I always use the Finder (was iTunes) to update my iPhone.

However, the Finder Window does NOT detect the new update after clicking "Check for Update".

The Mac (an iMac24 M1) is running Sonoma 14.1.1

Any suggestion?

I did a Save Boot and Reboot, but this does not fix the issue.

The MacRumors forum confirms that it is an issue that shows up quite often (or always?).

Agree. Usually, it does not take to the next day to have an update available for the iTunes/Mac/USB-linked way of updating. And 17.1.1 is "out" now since a while:

"Apple Releases iOS 17.1.1 With Bug Fixes for BMW Wireless Charging and Weather Widget => MacRumors note of Tuesday November 7, 2023 1:12 pm PST"

It may sometimes take a while before you see the update on your device. This has to do with the fact that Apple is rolling out these updates in phases.

Try again later or tomorrow.
