Stop outgoing message sound but keep text alert

How do I turn off the“Swoosh” sound for an outgoing message? (BUT I WANT TO KEEP HEARING TEXT ALERTS)

I saw this was asked already but the answer was wrong. Going to Settings > Sounds & Haptics, and looking for sound and vibration options. There you can see Sent Mail and if you tap it you can change the alert tone from Swoosh to None. But that doesn’t work. Mine already says none. Swoosh isn’t even an option for the “Sent mail”

You can’t silence the swoosh sound when sending a message. The only way I’ve been able to do it, without going to each of my contacts and changing their individual tone, is turn turn your phone to mute by flipping the switch on the left side to mute. That stops the sound, but also stops the incoming sound. So, I just mute it, send and turn it back on.
