Apple watch 9 not syncing with iphone and ipad

It just basically sync whenever it wants, to whatever it wants.

Thanks for getting back to me. This is my first Apple watch.

I paired with an iphone 13 with OS17.1 and Watch OS 10.1.

I did not try to pair with the ipad. I just installed “Health” to consult the stats (I’m an old man. Phones are small).

I was hoping health would sync to the watch and be able to review on any device. It does sync, but, in a weird way, with hours of delay, and missing information .

If you enable "Health" in Settings/Apple ID/iCloud -> Health, all data from the Health App on your iPhone will be synced to the iPad as well. Since the Health app on your iPad fetches the Health data from iCloud, it may take a while until the Health data on the iPhone and the iPad are in sync.

Did you pair your Apple Watch 9, running watchOS 10, to your iPhone, having iOS 17 installed?
