Using 'share' to Instagram crashes the 'Photos' app

After the ios 17.1 update...

When I attempt to share a photo from the 'Photos' app, I select the share symbol in ‘Photos’ and select the Instagram icon, the ‘Photos’ app freezes (see pic).

The only way to unfreeze the app ist to force-close.

Other selections work fine..

I have deleted Instagram and re-installed and restarted the phone.

This has only started happening since the ios 17 upgrade.

Any ideas folks..?
