I am unable to save photos after I placed stickers

I'm trying to make use of the new sticker features, but I cannot save the image after placing down any stickers. For more information, I use the edit option in the gallery on my iPad Air 5th Gen, system is iPadOS 17.1

I was able to place down a few stickers and save, but now whenever I try to place a sticker and save I get this message:

"Unable to Save Changes"

"An error occured while saving. Please try again later."

However when I write with the pencil tools or import images it works just fine.

Any ideas how to fix this?
