How to access stage manager on MacOs Monterey?

I am trying to turn stage manager on. The official documentation (Organise your Mac desktop with Stage Manager - Apple Support (IE)) mentions the steps to follow:

Apple Menu > System Settings > Desktop & Dock

First of all, in Monterey, "System Settings" is "System Preferences"

Also "Stage Manager" is nowhere to be found (not showing up on Mission Control)
