Why don’t y’all have an Icloud storage option on 1TB for $6.99?
Because they were able to upgrade everyone on a 1TB plan to 2TB for no additional cost. The people who answer questions on these boards are mostly other customers and won't be aware of any internal discussions at Apple.

They used to, but were able to give everyone on it more space without increasing the price. Nobody on these boards will otherwise know why Apple decided to set the storage tiers where they are.

There is no 1TB plan available. There is a 200mb plan for $2.99. Then it skips 1TB and goes to 2TB for $9.99. My question is why don’t they have a 1TB plan?
