Final Cut Pro for iPad keyboard malfunction problem

Is anybody have the problem when using Final Cut Pro for iPad like me - I am using iPad keyboard to edit with FCP on iPad, after I used the keyboard input text, after that I go back to timeline, the keyboard will be no response to play the clip , shortcuts etc. I have to quit the FCP and restart the app to get back my keyboard back to normal, but when I do the title work, it will happen again and again, is it have any solution to avoid this ? Thx

I have the same issue. I normally use the magic keyboard case but I also tried another bluetooth keyboard. When I hold down command, nothing shows up to let you know what shortcuts are available. I can hold down the globe and get the system shortcut list though. I even deleted and reinstalled Final Cut Pro for iPad but that did not help. Restarting did not help. I don't know why Apple does not release regular updates to Final Cut and Logic for iPad. Maybe it's a bug with iPadOS 17.1? It's unusable without the keyboard shortcuts.

I agree the problem is frustrating and impacts productivity. The only recourse we have right now is to have as many people as possible file feedback reports with Apple outlining the problem - and hope they motivate a fix ASAP.
