There isn’t a step I haven’t tried short of totally wiping my phone and factory resetting it with no effect I tried to create a sticker But when I tap, add sticker it Just disappears And I have to try to pull it from the picture again And when I try to use the stickers that I created the sticker drawer closes so I can’t even use any of the ones that I made Really like that feature it’s one of my favorite features and can’t even use it sad
I had the same issue it wouldn’t let me make stickers and when I tried to use stickers in messages the sticker bar would just close I had to go to my settings and I went to message apps and deleted all my sticker packs one of them was causing the issue I believe it was called love hearts I hope this fixes this problem for you

Make stickers from your photos on iPhone – Apple Support (UK)
follow the instructions... in Touch and hold the subject, then tap Add Sticker...it means touch and hold and release to see the grey menu on top of you selection that will have an animated higlighted outline, where you can select add to stickers. If it's whatsApp you need to drag the selection into the chat till you see the green + and release it, then tap it and add to favourites
When I tap add sticker it doesn’t do anything I tried and tried it will not make the sticker and I cannot use any stickers that I created before this problem started occurring when I’m in messaging app and I try to access my stickers. I will tap on the sticker icon the sticker drawer, but open and close immediately. It will not allow me to select any stickers that I created.
I have an iPhone 15 pro max and I have the update 17.3 and I can’t add my sticker to the sticker
Right before I got the 15 pro max , on my 13 I could create stickers, Now that I got the 15 pro max can not even do that.
Same ios bugged as **** works fine on my 13 but on 15 everything seems bugged
There’s an update rolling out just now, I don’t know what iPhone you have, if you can update to IOS 17.1 it might fix it
