Search not working in Photos on my Mac

When I enter a specific date in Photos on my Mac, it returns a nonsensical set of images; images from a wide date range. This may have started after the Sonoma update. The same issue is occurring on my wife's Mac. Anyone else seen or solved this?

Re: Search not working in Photos on my Mac

For MacOS Sonoma 14:

Seems we can now type multiple words separated by a space to search based on multiple criteria.

For example, we can search using a location and a month to see photos from a specific time and place.
