For sharing between friends, our activity is shown on my Watch, but not on the finess app on my phone. I'm not sure why it would show all of my friends information on my Watch, but just show a loading screen on my phone. Any help would be great, thanks!

In that case, you'd also want to restart both the Apple Watch and iPhone with these steps, since they can resolve simple issues (such as, loading):
After this, should the issue continue, then it would be best to contact Apple Support directly: Get Support They'll need to take it from here.

If you are not seeing your friend's fitness data in the Fitness app on your iPhone, first ensure you've set up Activity sharing using the steps outlined here: Share your Activity with your iPhone and Apple Watch
If this is how you have it set up and this continues, make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. These steps from Update your iPhone or iPad show how to back up and update:
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.
