global background color of contacts but ignore custom made contacts

Currently in iOS 17 the default background color of contacts is grey. I understand if you can customize the color of each singular contact but if you have several hundred contacts you aren’t like to customize them all. It would so nice to be able to globally change colors if it has not not been customized. Grey is boring and depressing.
