when I post a reel on instagram from a video taken with the iPhone15 the colours look are different. I didn't have the same problems with my previous iPhone 13, but with the new iPhone15 the brightness end the colour are different when I see the video on my phone and when I post the same video on instagram.

Happens to me aswell, it looks like it’s uploading the RAW pulled back version that’s hidden, might be something to do with the HDR settings 🤔
This happens to me and not just on Instagram, if I screen shot a photo the picture appears darker and less brilliant. Also when trying to upload to planoly, or when I text the photo. Not an Instagram issue
I think people who say this issue is simply a problem with the other app are being misleading. Probably on purpose. Because it is probably Apple. Apple does not allow you to turn off HDR or the other settings that are causing color profile issues. This is just as much their fault as it is other apps.
I have the same thing happen on Instagram and Adobe Premier Pro. Premier Pro is an industry-standard professional video production software. It is not downsampling the files. I can't "take it up with them" because they will tell me to record in a color space that the iPhone 15 Pro Max does not allow me to access.
Everything I am using is up to date. And I have spent hours tinkering and reading forums. So sick of everything Apple.
