Airdrop iOS17

Until iOS16, when I dropped a pdf file into my iPad, a popup screen showed to select which app I could use the file. However, after I upgraded to iOS17, such a popup screen never shows and the pdf files are directly stored into Download. I am using a note app and I need to transfer many files, and consequently I am unnecessarily wasting a lot of time to import those files from Download to my note app. I am wondering whether there is a way to indicate which app should receive pdf files. Any constructive advice would be much appreciated.

  • I am also wondering who thought of such an "upgrade", and why Apple takes our decision away. Is there any way to complain/appeal that to Apple?
