DSTV Stream audio not working over Airplay

I use Airplay to play audio from my apple tv to my surround sound. All apps’ audio on apple tv works with this (Netflix, Disney, Prime etc.) except for DSTV Stream, why is this? I always select the audio output to play through TV & “Apple Home” my airplay enabled hifi system, always works except when using DSTV Stream.

It's impossible to send audio from Apple TV to any Airplay 1 receiver and, more importantly, any app that still doesn't support Airplay 2 also fails to play. Yes, apps using the native Apple video player (AVPlayer) and apps with custom players supporting Airplay 2 all work, but it's still absolutely unacceptable to release a major new version with such a serious bug. I'm pretty sure this feature is not left out on purpose since all iOS 17 devices I've tested still support Airplay 1.

No sound via airplay to speaker AudioPro C10MkII Hi, Since Sonoma, I can't play audio to my speaker AudioPro C10MkII via Airplay. I can select the speaker in the sound settings, the airplay icon is flashing, no sound comes out of the speaker. Any idea what the problem might be ? No problem with Airplay directly from YouTube for example. Regards, Nico

AirPlay Apple Music Apple TV Bluesound node 2i Hello. I have an issue with my Apple TV where Apple Music starts playing automatically when I go to play a movie when my Apple TV is Airplaying audio to my Bluesound node 2i. I doesn’t matter which app it’s through. all software is updated and I have tried reconnecting airplay multiple times. for some reason Apple have removed disable auto play function so I am stuck with this dealbreaker of an issue. this is a reoccurring issue and I know other people are experiencing it.
