battery drainage macbook pro 2017 after upgrade to ventura 13.6

After upgrading to Ventura 13.6 I started noticing a strange thing. When I plug-in my macbook to the power in the morning (at this moment battery charge is about 50-80%) it doesn't actually start charging battery and battery charge drops to a very low level, almost 0% at one point. If, however, I unplug and plug back in, it starts charging OK and charges battery to 100%. So from now on I have to keep checking if it's really charging. This is not a huge issue but slight annoyance and clearly a bug in the algorithm. Anyone else noticed the same?

I should note I got the battery replaced recently, a couple of months ago and everything was absolutely fine.
