Apple TV 4k and Netflix App

I have a control 4 matrix switching setup in my home. In it I have two apple tvs- one older generation and one new 4k version. All tvs in the house are fairly high end 4k TVs. Every streaming app on either Apple TV streams in perfect clarity to every TV in the house EXCEPT for Netflix on the Apple TV 4K, it is so bad that it is absolutely unwatchable. Tried switching HDMI cables around, using different ports on the switch etc etc, nothing. Have checked every TV and netflix setting I can. Have the 4k Netflix subscription. Seems this is a common issue on these forums but can never find a proper answer.

Is your Apple TV system software up-to-date? Is the Netflix app up-to-date?

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the Netflix app?

Do you use a VPN? Accessing very remote servers can cause extra lag/buffering/streaming issues.

Are Netflix users in your area known to experience similar issues? Netflix uses an advanced system of local CDNs, which can cause users in one region or ISP to have a very different experience than others.

Netflix seems to stream in all its glory for me 🤷‍♂️. (Prime however …)
