AirPods setup incomplete

I’m trying to set up my AirPods Pro and it won’t finish setting up do I can have it in Find My. My phone is backed up and has the latest IOS. I have and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I can’t locate my AirPods because it’s says setup incomplete although I did everything it says to do to set them up I cannot locate my AirPods because, when I go to Find My it’s says setup incomplete. I was doing the steps to complete the set up and I finished them, although it still doesn’t let me locate my AirPods.

Airpods is not showing up in FindMy I have an Airpods Pro 2nd gen and my phone is iPhone 7 plus with iOS 15.8.2 (which is its best). I tried factory resetting it but after reconnecting it still didn't show up (however when i tried with higher iOS in other iPhones it did). Is this one of the missing functions with lower Os or an error with my Airpods?

I have reset my AirPods and updated my phone and find my AirPods is still not working I have resent my AirPods and updated my iPhone and I still can’t find my AirPods in find my.

Try resetting your AirPods by following the steps in this support article: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support

If this does not work, try restarting your iPhone.

If your AirPods still don’t pair properly, contact Apple Support.
