iPhone 14 Pro Max will only ring once and then go silent, how can I make sure it consistently rings for incoming calls?

My apple iPhone 14 Pro my text message only rings one time that’s not acceptable. I am missing my texted messages. I tried resetting and nothing why is this all of a sudden happening? Michelle B

If it rings once then goes to voicemail, then it is timing out.

Google how your particular provider increases the ring time, or try dialling this code

**61*vvv*11*XX#

where vvv is voicemail number

XX is the seconds of ring time you want, up to 29 max

If you have updated to the most recent release of iOS 17, make sure you have covered your bases by restarting your iPhone to refresh running processes.

Check whether you have Focus enabled in Settings > Focus. Disable this if it's not necessary to be on or you can add the Phone app to Allowed apps.

My iPhone 14 used to ring more than once, it is now only ringing once

This happened to my father's phone today. I turned the phone off, then turned it back on and the problem fixed itself.

same problem on 14 pro max. rings only once and then goes on silent.

Focus is off and also attention aware is off.

restart didn't fix it.

please help
