Notifications Can’t Be Enabled in Libby App

The Libby App does not show Notifications as an option to be enabled. In the app itself, it tells me that notifications are not enabled on the device, but when I click “fix this” it brings me to the notifications center on the iPad where the app is listed but “notifications” do not appear in the list of features I can enable. This is odd because the same version of the app allows notifications to be enabled on my wife’s iPad. I’m using an iPad Pro with iOS 17.0.3.

Hello MCDuhamel,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities and for sharing these details with us. If this specific app isn't properly working or you're experiencing some sort of unexpected behavior, we can help recommend some steps to help troubleshoot it. Follow the steps below:

1.) Restart your iPad to help refresh things: Restart your iPad - Apple Support

2.) If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the app by deleting it and redownloading it:

Once you reinstall the app, try to adjust your notifications for that app. We hope these steps help you. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
