Why can't I turn off "Your password is required to enable touch id?"
My phone doesn't disable touch id every 48 hours so why does the macbook? Hate this. Let me decide how much security I want.

It is normal to require a password after a period of disuse. The iPhone does it too.
On the other hand if your Mac requires a password every 48 hours even if you had been using it during that time, that isn't right. Contact Apple for support.
