My Mac doesn’t update and it’s 2020 model

My Mac 21.5 inch (2020) can’t update to MacOS Sonoma, in the App Store it’s showing up but when I tap “get” it doesn’t download it.

iPhone 6s, iOS 15

Try while in Safe Mode.

Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
