Since upgrade to iOS 17 voicemail is intermittently unavailable. The red dot indicating there are unheard messages appears and then disappears when the voicemail messages are not accessible. Turning phone off and back on doesn’t help. It also doesn’t help to turn live VM off and back on. Literally visual VM is unavailable and then randomly will return and disappear again. I have upgraded to the latest iOS on 10/4/23 without any help.
This exact same thing has been happening to me for months. I've been on the phone with Verizon about it for hours at this point, over several calls. Each person assuring me they're fixing it.
I've re-set Network settings, done tricks and troubleshoots...they always say it's being worked on, going to be fixed...and it's not.
If there's a solve for this, aside from getting a new phone and new network, I'd love to know!
