iOS 17 Find My Friends Lagging

Ever since updating to iOS 17, find my friends has gotten noticeably slower. It will now take a couple minutes for my friends' location to be updated where it used to be a few seconds.

There have been no other changes aside from the os update.

Find My Friends - Live Location Since the iOS 16 update the 'Find My Friend's' app is not showing 'live' location for all friends on list. Find my Friends not updating automatically (iPhone 14 pro max / iOS 16.01) Since this weekend I have the iPhone 14 pro max, the find my friends app is not working properly anymore. (On my iPhone 12 it worked normal) The location of the people I follow is not updating automatically, so I have force close the app and restart the app to get their location. Anyone any idea how to solve this? Restart and hard reset didn't work.

I noticed the exact same issue as soon as I updated to iOS 17: before finding persons was super fast.

I install sw updates as soon as a new version is issued but so far I haven’t experienced any improvement on the “Find my” application.

Hope they’ll be able to fix it soon!
