Find My Friends - Live Location

Since the iOS 16 update the 'Find My Friend's' app is not showing 'live' location for all friends on list. After multiple resets, remove/add friends, app refresh its only showing 'live' for some individuals and 'location x minutes ago' for others. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Find my friend locations not updating When searching a friends location that is shared with me, the location does not update and very seldom shows a live location. This is the same for more than one contact. I have reset the find my app, reset the network settings, tried turning airplane mode on and off and have rebooted the phone. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

Find My not updating people locations 2 days ago I updated my IPhone 13 to IOS 18.0.1 and this morning I noticed the location of my friends is not updated. The locations of their devices are updating without any problems. All settings are checked and haven’t changed since yesterday when everything worked fine. I already found more of this mentioned by other users online since the latest update. Is it a bug or a malfunctioning app? And most important: is there a fix? Thank you!

With in real time location updates for all your friends not being available after troubleshooting, it would be best to contact Apple Support to investigate this matter further.
