Just bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and it keeps locking itself whilst on my wrist, especially when I have a timer active. I've done everything that has been advised and Wrist Detection is ON. I'm using the same strap as I did on my previous Watch Ultra, so I know it's not to loose. Has anyone else experienced this?

We would like to see how we can help you with your Apple Watch locking unexpectedly. Which version of watchOS and iOS are you running on your devices? Go to Settings > General > About for the version. If you switch Wrist Detection off and then back on, does the issue persist? Thanks for the response.
There is a new update for the phone which is version 17.0.3.
It does contain bug and stability fixes.
Let's update the iPhone and test the watch again.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm running 17.0.2 on my iPhone and 10.0.2 on my watch. I have tried turning Wrist Detection off and then on, and the problem still persists, but it only seems to happen when I'm running a timer.

The update seems to have worked, so fingers crossed it's sorted now
Ok tested again today and it's locking again when the timer is active. Did it twice in the space of 10 minutes. The watch is brand new so shouldn't be happening
