Any advice on getting my Apple Card back in use?
Do you know why it was restricted? The review means that your account is being reviewed by a risk analyst for possible closing. This review is triggered by either a payment behavior or purchase behavior that triggered a flag on your account by a computer algorithm that fit a specific pattern. This is not a random arbitrary review.
Generally, 30 days, but I’d try not to push the issue. Consider it a time out and just continue with payments. I’d contact them again after they report to the credit bureaus in October. Review your report and see what they are reporting. If it’s positive, you’re ok with it being open.
Hi Jeff, it’s my Apple Card Mastercard. I’ve called Apple Card Support Specialists many times. They have submitted four complaints on my behalf for the situation to be expedited. They just tell me to wait and that they cannot see anything pertaining to my account. They also say they don’t have a time frame of when this will be handled. I also called Goldman Sachs , who eventually just transferred me back to Apple Card Support. However, Goldman Sach stated it should take 5-7 business days.
Yes, I know why. It was because of multiple transaction disputes in a short period of time.
How long is this review supposed to take?
I’m concerned because as I’m reading threads about this topic, some people never received a call back or update at all. Some people continued to wait it out, paid their full card balance, and can’t even close their account or use their account.
Apple Card reps just tell me to wait for a call. It’s been two weeks already
Is this your Apple Card Mastercard account or Apple Cash account?
