Sonoma and Terminal are not getting a long with one another!

Historically, Terminal has opened david*****@DAVIDs-MBP. Now it is opening in the "root" and listing the "Library" only. Not being adept at using the commands beyond diskutil, I would appreciate some direction on resetting Terminal to open as it should. While this is not something I intend to become skilled at I do enjoy learning to make better use of it.

I will be running diskutil and Safeboot to perhaps clean things up.
