AppleTV+ cutting off the end of our shows

Trying to watch The Changeling on AppleTV+ and every episode is cutting off at the end. We are missing important stuff. Going back and fast forwarding doesn’t help it just cuts off at the same spot mid sentence of the actor. This is horrible. It quickly rolls into the next episode puts the episode you are watching in a small box and just cuts it off. Nothing we do stops this. Anyone else having this issue recently? I have seen several old issues posted with this problem.

Very frustrating, for sure. I started with a text conversation with Apple support. They asked if they could call me for more information on the issue. I said ‘sure’ and they called. I talked to a helpful human for 20 minutes. Shortly after that, the issue showed up in the Apple System Status web page.

How in the world are you getting human support?


I have a sub to AppleTV+, I have the app on my ipad. I cannot play any shows because it thinks I do not have a sub. When I click on getting a sub, it says I already have one.


I can watch AppleTV+ on a browser on my PC or ipad but I want to download shows on my ipad and I cannot do that if the AppleTV+ app is broken. There are no download buttons when I see AppleTV+ on a browser.


I have restarted the ipad, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app and the same circular nonsense begins again.

The only 'help' I could figure out was to request a refund on the subscription but I think it says it takes 48 hours to resolve anything that way.


I was hoping to take downloads on a trip and now that is busted.

I finally found chatsupport and because I am trying to get an appletv+ refund since the app does not work and I thought cancelling then repurchasing the subscription might fix things, everything has stopped.


I reminded them that the app does not work. They want to set up a call with tech support but the timing does not work.


First, chatsupport said when you ask for a refund the subscription is over but I said I am currently watching appletv+ on a browser on my PC. Now they are saying it may take 48 hours before the subscription actually terminates and I can repurchase a subscription.


No one knows if that will get the app up and running again. What. A. Mess.
