Voicemail transcription stopped working

My voicemails are no longer being automatically transcribed. This feature just disappeared quite a while ago. Since disappearing, my iPhone is the same (12 Mini) and so is my carrier (AT&T), and I haven’t manually changed any settings having to do with my phone, so the only changes would be iOS updates (as of the date of this post I am up to date with the latest version). Old voicemails still have the transcribed text showing, and all research I have done hasn’t provided any solution that has worked (e.g.: just tap the voicemail and the transcript will download; make sure Siri is turned on). I have not contacted AT&T to see if they have stopped supporting this feature - does anyone know if this has happened? If not, and you still have voicemail transcription that works (especially if you use AT&T), what have you done to have it, and what can I do to get it back? Thank you.

Hi Schmool,

Thanks for connecting with us here in Apple Support Communities. With the introduction of iOS 17, you can get Live Voicemail which transcribes voicemail in real time. Check this out: Use Live Voicemail on your iPhone - Apple Support

If you have any additional questions about voicemail and the transcribe feature that you were using previously, please reach out to your carrier.

Kind regards.
