Since updating to watchOS 10 (and IOS 17) my watch calendar complication only shows “no events today” even when events are showing on my calendar. If I tap the calendar section of the watch face I see all of my events so they are getting to the watch but not showing in the complication.

After some experimentation, I found that going to Accounts, turning of the Calendar sync for the missing account, then turning it back on resolved the complication issue. I hope that helps.

I'm having the exact same issue with the 2 grey lines. Thank you for letting me know the apple store can't fix it. You saved me hours of my time. I just got back from there. After the last update my Ultra 2 battery started dying in 6 to 8 hours. They had to send it out to get a hard reset where they had to reinstall the software in my watch. 7 days later I got my watch back just to have this issue. I was wondering if that messed something up but it looks like I'm not alone in this.
I’m having the same issue - it shows two gray lines instead of the event on the watch face. Once I tap those lines, the calendar shows the events. Even in the Watch app the preview shows the events. I have tried restarting the Watch, phone, and re-syncing without luck. WatchOS 10.1, phone iOS 17.0.3.
This seems to be working now since yesterday afternoon. No changes to phone or watch and not upgraded to WatchOS 10.0.1 or IOS 17.0.2. I did upgrade Mac OS Sonoma about the same time it started working.
I have same problem also since watchOO 10.0.1 . It only shows appointments from one calendar (and I cannot choose which one).
Have reported the bug and called support but no luck yet

I is the main reason for me (to see next meeting coming up) having an apple watch so really a bummer.
I have this exact same problem. WatchOS on 10.2 and iOS on 17.0.2. Tried restarting both devices.
