ITunes tracks won't play

I have loaded several albums into iTunes and they play fine on my PC. However, I have synced with my iPhone (operating sytem up to date) and lots of tracks will not play on phone as they say they are not valid in my region or country. It is also now happening with tracks that have been on phone for a long time. What can I do to remedy this?

Hey AFBigfoot,

If you're using Apple Music, or iCloud Music Library on your iPhone, the songs from your PC may be matching to the Apple Music versions which could cause this to occur if those songs are not available in the region your Apple ID account is set to.

You can find more information on iCloud Music Library syncing here that may help clear things up: Use Sync Library with your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support

If these are songs imported from CDs or other sources onto your PC, you may want to turn off Sync Library on your devices so you can manually import from iTunes on PC using these steps: Sync iTunes content on PC with your devices - Apple Support

Thanks!
