For 4 months I’ve had fraudulent charges on my apple credit card. To the same place. They changed the card number each time but it still happens. How they get the new card number I have no idea.
One would think they could fix that problem but no.
I just closed the account. Irritating.

The fraudulent charges are to the old number. Goldman Sachs is/was just showing you the fraudulent charges that their security system was stopping. It’s considered a feature. My Capital One accounts just started doing the same thing. Other things may be doing similar things.
The only card number you see is the virtual number that you can change in the Wallet app. The last 4 digits will remain the same. It was the same card number. You’re not the only person that this has happened to. Facebook, Reddit and other social media platforms have been reporting this for months. All the transactions and numbers are easily traced. I understand what you see is confusing and GS does a poor job of explaining what you’re seeing. If they were actually using a new number, GS wouldn’t be able to stop them and you’d be filing disputes every time a new charge was put on a new number. Old numbers get sold and resold repeatedly on the Dark Web.
they changed the card number every month and the same charges were made. With 3 new card numbers. That’s not on the old number.
