Series 9 Apple Pay not working. "Confirm with AssistiveTouch" turns on automatically every time I turned it off

Hi everyone,

I've read some comments for similar issue on the previous watches but could find one for series 9. On series 9 assitivetouch can be disabled but the "Confirm with assitivetouch" always turns on automatically even if I turn off everything.

I haven't been able to use Apple Pay so far, although whilst trying different settings for the assistive touch I've seen the "hold near the reader" message but I don't know what exactly made it work and it only lasted for a few seconds.

I suggest open the iPhone's Watch app and go to the Accessibility > Assistive Touch section. ENABLE Assistive Touch (so it gives you access to everything) then check all the settings and options before you turn off Assistive Touch and Accessibility again (leave them set for how you need).

If that doesn't work you might have to try unpairing (erasing) your Apple Watch and set it up again. It would be your choice whether to restore a backup if one is offered, but my plan would be try first with the backup, and if that brings back the unwanted options just try again but re-pair and setup as a New Watch. You don't lose anything except a few settings because all your apps and data still exist in your iPhone.
