My iMac Catalina ...when I open a new application, the window opens and is BEHIND currently open windows

How can I fix that? I want new windows to open in front.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Mac OSX Ventura / open in a new window instead in a new tab / On multi screen choose on which screen the window will open Hello, almost all my question are in the title. Recently update to ventura , went in settings/ desktop & Dock / Windows & App / Choose tab when opening a file : never . Restart computer which still opening the file in the same window, if i press Cmd while clicking it'll still open in a new tab but not a new window. I know my question can soung strange but i'm facing a problem organising the apparence of my screen. Same for if i double click a photo it'll open on the screen define as Main screen even if i need it on another screen. How can i decide on which screen my file will open. For a photo even if i bing the window after it opened on the main screen , on the screen where i need it , computer won't save the place of the window and will open next picture on the main screen again... Very annoying ... So if anyona can give me sone tips that will be great

Desktop Showing through documents Greetings, Having an issue where when I open a document or application on my desktop, I can see the desktop background through the actual application or document. Kind of weird. Mostly, I just move the document or application around on the desktop, open and close it, ect to be able to see the document or application as oppose to the desktop background showing through. This is happening on my imac I27-inch, late 2013) macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7

Try restarting in Safe Mode then restart normally and retest.

If you have a wireless keyboard AND an Intel based iMac on startup plug the keyboards charging cable into the Mac and keyboard and hold down the Shift key on startup until it starts up.
