IOS 17 Personal Voice in uk english

I have created a Personal Voice in iOS 17, but it sounds nothing like me. I'm English but I sound like the usual bland robot, and it ignores punctuation. What am I doing wrong?

When I get a message with text in Tamil, voiceover does not reading the Tamil text, while it read for other languages. All language and voice settings are properly configured. Voice recognition issues. Did the latest software update, 17.1.1, change something in the voice recognition software? Mine is not functioning properly. It hears me, but the voice to text is wrong. I’m on the English setting.

Can I download the Scottish Siri Voice option? My new iPhone14 had a Scottish accent available for Siri, which I selected. It changed back to the USA voice by itself and I tried to reset to Scottish accent and it is no longer an option! This change happened in one day of having new phone. Can I download the Scottish option somehow? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Wow - two months and not a single reply. I had the same issue. It sounds like Siri. Not even British (as I am). Any Apple people on here that would care to comment?
