ios 17 How do I turn off/disable audio messages from automatically transcribing? This really should be opt-in/out. If I wanted to transcribe my messages I would have used voice to text. Is there an option to turn this off? All my searches lead to voicemail but I am looking for audio messages.
I've been looking for this too. It's frustrating when apple forces certain changes on us that can potentially interfere with privacy.
Anyway, I think I found it:
Go to SETTINGS
Scroll down to PHONE
Then look for LIVE VOICEMAIL
And turn it off
I only just found it and can't confirm that it works until I get another voicemail. But this is the closest thing I've found that makes sense.
