Elusive Right Click using Excel on iPad !!!

So this is essentially a Microsoft issue I think, however am reaching out here to see if anyone can point to a work around. I maintain a worksheet in which I use Notes often. When I work on this sheet on my desktop pc there’s no issue … … but when I’m updating the sheet on my iPad it is not possible to perform a right click … well actually I bought a Bluetooth mouse for the iPad, but Insert Note option does NOT appear on pop up list … only Comments. How can I insert a Note into a cell while working in my sheet in my iPad?
