- Shows that there is 1 email in there
- Click into it, there are no emails in there
- Can't get the 1 to go away

Sent emails appearing in inbox I have an ipad mini. For the past several months i notice that emails i had sent are appearing in my inbox! These are emails that the recipient did not answer. I just spent almost an hour with Apple support and they claim ignorance of the problem. It only happens on my ipad mini, even though i can also access my email on my desktop. Has anyone found a solution specific to the mini?

How to get rid of an unsent email. After the iOS 16.1.1 update, an email that is months old is now showing up as an unsent email. I open the mail app, choose Outbox and delete the mail. A few minutes later, it’s back, and not only is it back, but the number of unsent emails in the mail app keeps increasing even though there is only one unsent mail in outbox. I have tried deleting from outbox, and rebooting. Nothing works. Is anybody else having this issue, and have you found a work around?

The same mailbox on my iPhone 12 Pro Max (iOS 17) also shows 1 when there is none.

I set up another email to remind me in 1 hour, the number of Remind Me emails showed 2 when there was 1. I cleared this, and the number went back down to 1 on both my iPhone and iPad.
