"new line" or "new paragraph" command is not working with Dictation on iOS 17

I’m from Italy and and I can confirm the issue above.

I always used dictation without any problem on earlier iOS versions, after upgrade to iOS 17, all symbols and paragraph commands not work anymore.

Funny thing is they are working OK if I switch to English.

Apple should fix the issue ASAP, it’s strange to me there’s no mentions about this bug (probably since it’s related to some languages only).

This doesn't help ! There is fundamental problem with the dictation commands screwed up since iOS 17. Many users confirm this. APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM !!! What do we need to do to make you guys aware of a problem that exists ONLY in non-US-English localisations ?

We are running a dictation app and we get hundreds of complaints about the screwed-up dictation commands. The problems first occurred in iOS17 and affect at least: Englisch(GB), French, German, Italiano, Spanish and Portuguese. Probably more languages, but we don't have complaints (yet?) about them.

The problem is also present on macOS Sonoma.

We have filed a bug reports FB13409834 and FB13409842, but nobody cares.

!!! THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM FOR THE WHOLE DICTATING WORLD !!!

I also started experiencing this problem in early November this year. I use English (India) as my default language on the keyboard. When I change this to English (US), the problem went away. This is something that Apple needs to fix.

Does anybody care about this SERIOUS dictation command problem ? Whole Europe is waiting for a fix !

Please respond and tell us at least if Apple is aware of the problem and working on it.

should be illegal to change one of the thousands of settings on someones personal iphone, anyway still waiting as this issue has rolled onto the next year ! id use dictation all the time and now why have it on the phone if you wont allow us to use it !

All those Apple workers and they cant quickly patch this up? losing me as a apple fan here please try!!!! APPLE, if you would like some feed back i promise to give you suggestions or ideas on what the people want just ask me i will provide !
