Not receiving any audible alerts with text messages after updating iPhone to iOS 17

I downloaded IOL 17 onto my iPhone 13 ProMax yesterday. Ever since, I am not receiving any audible alerts with text messages. I called Apple support and they had me reset all its settings and that worked temporarily but it is now a recurrent problem. Has anybody else noticed this and you have any more durable solutions. Apple tech support claims that they have not received similar complaints which I find hard to believe

Yes. I am also having this problem. I am receiving the texts, but no sounds or banner alerts. I have scoured the googlenet for solutions but nothing I have tried is working.

The way I was able to fix it, was to go into settings, messages, and enable notification. I’ve also since updated the iOS. It’s working OK for me now.
