Hello , after installing TVOS17 , the Pause is not working. the sound stops but the picture is still runnig.The sign of stop ( the two lines )is shown but the picture still running.thanks

i am no Apple TV 4K . the pause on the remote us not working .

Application : Partner TV ( installed on the Aplle TV streamer )

Apple TV pause issue I had updated my Apple TV 4K ( old one, with the black remote ) to tv os 17 and then after that whenever I try to pause any video that uses the Apple TV player, like in prime video, the video doesn’t pause but just mutes and the video keeps on playing. Sound pauses but video continues When I pause video with Apple TV remote sound pauses but video continues. Never had this problem before, any suggestions?

TVOS 18.0 turns on unintentional closed captioning Since upgrading to TVOS 18 I've experienced a situation where using the fast forward or rewind buttons on my Apple TV remote will turn on closed captioning. At first I thought it was the remote and then when my second Apple TV auto upgraded and I experienced the same behavior it felt like it was a TVOS 18 thing. Anyone else seeing anything like this.

Try this for any misbehaving app:

Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
If the issue still persists after that, then contact the app developer for further assistance.

The sign of stop (the two lines)

FYI: Other people may refer to that symbol as ‘Pause’.

They can do both. Many similar companies do that, and keep updating their apps on all platforms where it is available.

is there any way to downgrade TVOS back to 16.6.1 ?

There is no method of downgrading. The only way is forward.

Version 16.6.1 never existed for the tvOS platform; 16.6 was the prior version.

Thanks . yes , i tried "you tube" and it works. i contacted Partner TV and i am waiting their answer.

Since i do not think they will fix it ( as they are selling their own streamers ) is there any way

( yes it was 16.6 not 16.6.1 , i mixed with the Iphone ....)
