iOS 17 causing my 14 pro max to get hot

My 14 pro max has never overheated or even gotten remotely warm. I updated to iOS 17 and almost immediately my phone was hot. Anyone else have this problem? I have restarted, updated all my apps, taken off my case, and all the other “fixes” and nothing helps.
