iOS 17 update. Canon printer

iPad Air 4th Generation. iPhone 12. Canon MF260 printer.

When trying to print I get the familiar "Options" screen. Then I select "Printer". AS always, I'm then taken to the "Printer" page. The Canon MF260 is there. When selected, I'm taken, as usual, back to the "Options" screen. The printer is displayed momentarily then reverts back to "No printer selected"

Works as usual on a non-updated iPad.

Reset printer and IPad and IPhone multiple times. Can't print from iPad or phone.

No luck.

Any change if you try the following procedure with waiting times (do not forget the router)?

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, all iPhones and iPads, any Macs, and all other computers/devices. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhones and iPads, and any Macs. Finally, power on all other computers/devices.

Tried your idea, Jan, regrettably, no change.

Thanks for responding.

My workaround until I can resolve this issue is to print from the MacBook

when the printer momentarily appears in the “options “ screen, the cog like symbol spins and spins until the screen shows the “no printer selected “ text.

Perhaps the first 17 update will resolve this issue. Inconvenient, but easy to work around.

Thanks again

Ed

I am having the same issue. There are other threads. Some people report it’s printer specific. Mine is a cannon. I have tried resetting everything

router factory reset and reconfigure

unplugged every Apple device

reset the network settings on my iPhone and iPad that I updated to IOS17

power cycled the printer

the devices that didn’t upgrade print fine. I tried restoring everything in my network and only turning on my iOS 17 devices. No luck

other threads are informing that Brother printers are having the very same issue of not being able to get things working after resetting bonjour services.
